Guest Booking Terms
The terms that apply when you book a table through a Dinebase booking page.
Version 1.0 · Last updated 2026-07-27
Dinebase is the booking system the restaurant uses. Your reservation is an agreement between you and the restaurant. [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] operates the booking page on the restaurant's behalf and is not responsible for the meal, the table or the service.
1. Making a reservation
By completing a booking you confirm that the details you provide are correct and that you are authorised to book on behalf of your party. A reservation is confirmed when you receive a confirmation message, or when the restaurant confirms it if the restaurant reviews bookings manually.
By making a reservation you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Guest Privacy Notice.
2. Arriving
Please arrive at the booked time. Restaurants generally hold a table for a limited grace period, after which the table may be released. The table is booked for a set duration; if you arrive late the remaining time may be shorter.
3. Changes and cancellation
You can cancel or change your reservation using the link in your confirmation message, subject to the restaurant's cancellation window. After the window closes, contact the restaurant directly.
4. No-show and late-cancellation fees
Some restaurants require a payment card to secure a booking and may charge a no-show or late-cancellation fee. Where this applies, the amount, the cancellation window and the conditions are shown before you complete the booking. Any such fee is charged by the restaurant, not by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. Disputes about a fee are handled by the restaurant.
5. Messages you receive
You will receive messages related to your reservation — confirmation, reminders and changes — by email or SMS, depending on the contact details you provide and the channels you select. These are service messages, not marketing. If a restaurant sends you marketing, that is the restaurant's own responsibility and you can object to it directly with them.
6. Waitlist
Where a restaurant offers a waitlist, joining it is not a confirmed reservation. If a table becomes available you may be notified and given a limited time to accept.
7. Availability of the booking page
We aim to keep booking pages available at all times but cannot guarantee it. If the page is unavailable, contact the restaurant directly.
8. Contact
Questions about your reservation should go to the restaurant. Questions about the booking platform itself: [SUPPORT EMAIL].
